San Francisco: WhatsApp, the mobile messaging app, has begun work on another major change.
WhatsApp is introducing new features daily for its two billion users worldwide, with the aim of providing better and better convenience to the users while remaining at the forefront of the world of technology.
WhatsApp was criticized around the world after the privacy policy, after which millions of users created accounts on Telegram, BIP, Singles as an alternative.
After criticism and pressure from users, WhatsApp withdrew the policy and then resumed the process of introducing new features to get users’ attention.
A few days ago, WhatsApp introduced a feature on money transactions, which was appreciated by business people.
WhatsApp has now started working on changing the Delete for Everyone feature.
Note that the users of WhatsApp demanded that they be given the option to delete the sent message, on which the company introduced the facility of deleting messages in 2017.
In the early days, this facility was provided for only 7 minutes, then the time was extended to 8 minutes, and then a few months later it was extended to one hour.
According to a report by Web Beta Info, WhatsApp has now started working on further extending the duration of deleting messages. In the future, the user will be able to delete messages even after a certain month.
A screenshot shared by WA Beta Info shows that the August 2021 message can be deleted in November.
Work on this feature is still in progress, the test is only available to users using the beta version of WhatsApp, after a successful experiment it will be introduced to all users.
